Protest and the Art of Gentle Persuasion: January's Inspiring Evenings Lecture

Please come along to hear about one Old Badmintonian's campaign against plastics.
Thursday 9th January - All Welcome
Thursday 9th January - All Welcome
It was never meant to be a campaign, just a forty-day Lenten plastics fast inspired in 2018 by David Attenborough’s Blue Planet series. But what started personal and temporary soon became public, lasting and life-affirming.  Tracey Logan discusses the principles, strategies and skills she used to dramatically cut her plastic consumption and encourage others to do the same, via community meetings, local press and national media.  Her message is one of empowerment, for:  ‘when you think you’re too small to make a difference, remember the last night you spent in a room with a mosquito!’
