It was a pleasure to welcome back David Cook, former Head of Maths, who popped in to School to share some artwork with us.

After the sad loss of his dog, David reached out to a former Badminton pupil, Francesca Sene, and commissioned a portrait of his border terrior, Stanley. The resulting artwork is this beautiful image.

David and his family are delighted at how perfectly Francesca encompassed Stanley's personality from the photograph she was sent, a sign of a truly skilled artist.

Over a cup of coffee, David caught up with some former colleagues and shared that, even in retirement, his love for learning is as strong as ever - he is currently completing his final year of a degree in...you guessed it....Maths!
