We welcomed back alumna Maria Zagorulko as our Inspiring Evenings guest speaker last term.

Maria delivered a fascinating talk on her journey to become a chemical engineer and her current work on solar thermal technology which provoked some very interesting questions from the audience, some of whom are interested in following a similar career path.

Maria's love of Chemistry started when she joined Badminton in Year 9 and her encouraging, inspirational and engaging talk certainly showed her passion for STEM!

As well as presenting to students, we also found time to have a tour of the School and catch up with some staff who taught Maria during her time here.
