Mrs Tear and Old Badmintonians visit 10 Downing Street

10 Downing Street
Mrs Tear was delighted to be invited by an Old Badmintonian to attend a private visit to 10 Downing Street, London.  Mrs Tear was joined by Mrs Warden and Mrs Robertson, an Old Badmintonian and former teacher herself, but also the Honorary Secretary of the Old Badmintonian Association.

10 Downing Street, colloquially known as "Number 10", is the headquarters of the Government of the United Kingdom and is usually the residence of the Prime Minister.  Mrs Tear, Mrs Warden and Mrs Robertson were fortunate to have private viewings of the Cabinet Room, the famous staircase containing pictures of all the previous Prime Ministers and the Number 10 garden.
