Bristol's most recognisable and beloved structure, the Clifton Suspension Bridge, was the subject of February's "Inspiring Evenings" lecture which took place last Thursday.  Trisha Johnson, Chief Engineer at the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust, talked at length to an fascinated audience of Badminton School girls and interested members of the public.  She covered all aspects of the Bridge including its history, its structure and the processes needed to maintain it at full working order.

The audience asked many questions and lingered long after the close of the talk to discuss what they had heard.

A  really big thanks to Trisha Johnson for bringing her warmth and substantial knowledge to the occasion.

Next month's lecture will take place on Thursday 7th March at 7.45pm. Keep a look out for further details.
