The tired but happy cyclists
On Saturday 12th May, 34 cyclists from the Badminton community, including Junior and Senior School pupils, parents and staff took part in the inaugural Badminton School to Badminton Village bike ride. The 42-mile route wound through the picturesque countryside and we were blessed with the warm Summer weather. On our return, we gathered together to enjoy a delicious BBQ to celebrate our efforts with thanks to Involved!

The community event had been organised as part of the Thrive@Badminton campaign to raise a target of £750 for a new set of bike stands on campus. A big thank you to all of those who have donated and helped us to raise an outstanding £705. It's not too late to show your support, please visit: Sponsored Community Cycle. We would love to reach our target, can you help us raise another £45.00?

A big 'thank you' must go to all of those that participated in the Sponsored Cycle and helped to make this event happen. Thanks must also go to Chris and Dan, members of our Estates Team, who kept us on the right route and Les Palmer, our Estates Manager, who drove the safety vehicle and provided us with refreshments and encouragement throughout the day.

I look forward to welcoming you all to take part in the next community event, which will be the Badminton 5km Fun Run on Saturday 8th September.
