Last night, we were delighted to invite our Upper Sixth students to the traditional Leavers’ Reception.
Hosted by Mrs Tear in the Drawing Room of Northcote, it was a special occasion to relax and reminisce over the year gone by whilst enjoying some delicious canapés and a glass of celebratory bubbles.
The students also had the opportunity to sign the ceremonial Leavers’ Book, a wonderful tradition which has been upheld for many years and is a beautiful written record of our departing Sixth Form which is held in the Badminton School archives. It is a gold-edged, leather-bound book which holds many a name of our departed pupils and is an intriguing memoire for our pupils to revisit when they return to School in future years ahead.
We do hope our Upper Sixth remain in touch with the School and continue to be part of our strong global network of alumnae; we look forward to welcoming them back as alumnae in the future!
