Alumna Freya Berry returns to Badminton as guest speaker

On Thursday 28th April 2022, we were delighted to host Old Badmintonian Freya Berry as our Inspiring Evenings speaker. Freya studied English at Trinity College, Cambridge, and went on to become a financial and political journalist at Reuters and the Daily Mail before leaving journalism to write her first novel, The Dictator's Wife.  It was wonderful to see the Peace Memorial Hall so full of pupils and particularly nice to see so many of our younger pupils attending with their families. Alongside delivering her talk, Freya enjoyed a tour of the School and afternoon tea with some current pupils who relished the chance to ask her questions about her career.  Thank you to Freya for delivering such an interesting and engaging session; we certainly feel that Inspiring Evenings lived up to its name and has motivated the next generation of budding novelists!
