The whole Badminton School community is very saddened to hear of the passing of one of its Heads.

Clifford Gould was the first male Headmaster at Badminton School and, along with his wife Patricia, ably led the School through the changing times of the Eighties and Nineties.

Our thoughts are with Patricia and his family at this sad time.

The funeral was held on Saturday 29th February at 2pm at St John’s Church, Glastonbury. Badminton School were proud to attend and provide some of the beautiful music that accompanied the service.

Mrs Caroline Bateson, former Deputy Head of Badminton School and colleague of Clifford read a lovely tribute to him during the service.
